"The next few years are probably the most important in our history" - UN Panel on Climate

"Global economies will have to begin rapid and unprecedented changes to everything from energy production to transport, agriculture and buildings if mankind is to limit damage from global warming, the United Nations' climate panel said in a major report released on Monday (Oct 8)." David Fogarty, Assistant Foreign Editor of the Straits Times reported this morning.

" 'This report gives policymakers and practitioners the information they need to make decisions that tackle climate change while considering local context and people's needs. The next few years are probably the most important in our history,' " the Straits Times quotes Dr Debra Roberts, a report co-author, saying.

A: Happy to clarify: anyone between the ages of 12 and 25 whose primary residence is in Singapore is eligible to enter, regardless of their nationality. Q:  Are students turning 12 this year (but whose birthdays have yet to pass) allowed to participate?
